The death of uncool is a theory supported and generated by the ideas of Brian Eno, a former rock star from the 70's who now produces music from such bands as Coldplay and U2. His ideas meant that in todays generation there is no such thing as an uncool music taste and no genre that is looked down upon as every genre in its own way is seen as cool. This has differed from previous years as there was mainly a set genre or type of music that would have been seen to be 'cool' to listen to and any other type may not have been accepted as laughed upon.
We were given the task of putting our music player on shuffle and the first 20 tracks and write them down, this would show us the amount of different genres on our music players that we didn't know about. This would enforce the theory there is no uncool because at one point we would have loved every song on our ipod, or they wouldn't be on there.
